I've never had a problem identifying you as male. The hair, perhaps? I've known a number of native american me whose hair was quite long as well, so, perhaps it's a cultural perception...?
yes i'm sure it's the hair i would agree too about being cultural perception. If a person isn't used to seeing a guy with long hair, then they automatically think 'girl'. I have a light/smooth complexion also which might be misleading, lol.
I suppose...one of my daughters donates her long hair every other year to locks of love, an organization making wigs for children undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cancer. She has been mistaken for a boy frequently, as she is just under 6 feet tall, wide shoulders, and is rather small breasted. She gets a buzz cut.[link]
I so understand the pain! We have a few physical features in common. I've went through the same wave of people's confusion. When I was a bit younger I was getting comments questioning my gender. I've got even one that makes me laugh even today. It was "female face is very well blended with male body, congrats, good job on this" xD and it was on my stock account
aw, thank you! yes, we do that comment you received is kinda hilarious! i was at first amused by the confused comments i got but it started to get on my nerves so i created this stamp
The secret of "female look" lives mostly in long hair, especially when shiny and silky. I'm still mistaken for a woman on a street sometimes. It can be annoying really but since I've seen a guy with a Viking body size being mistaken for a woman only because of long hair, I became much calmer
yep, it's all about the long hair long shiny tresses can soften a man's appearance, but i myself have never been confused over it. occasionally i have been mistaken like that too, lol.
I never really thought you were a girl...ever you don't really look too girly and you're actually pretty cute...I'm lesbian...but still...I think you're pretty cute...(and you honestly don't look like a girl!)
I had to clarify a bit...I figured...lesbian telling a guy that he looks pretty cute could possibly be misconstrued as "you look like a really cute girl"...but no so yeah...
that comment you received is kinda hilarious!
occasionally i have been mistaken like that too, lol.
so yeah...
