Startled and rubbing my sleepy eyes I stared in awe at the biggest full moon I had ever seen! Leaping from the bed I pressed myself against the window pane where the light absorbed me. Then I heard the wolf song and cold though I was standing against the frost laden glass, rushes of emotion warmed my heart. How I longed to join the wolf howling upon the snowy ridge in the distance.
Pushing my hands to the glass I softly called. It was like nothing I had ever known before, a song carrying from the very depth of my soul as if it had always existed, yet buried for the longest time.
