Nosferium...

one who belongs to the nocturnal realm.

~

This picture has been hanging around in my folder now for 6 months! There was only a few things that needed completion, but the editing was a bit tricky. I procrastinated on this for too long.
It was intended to be much darker, more sinister... though i am still quite pleased with it.

Gotta support any personifcation of my totem too. Both Ravens and crows have been my buds for a very long time, we've had several close incounters both happy and sad. I truly feel crows, but most especially Ravens, are more intelligent than some people. Did you ever see the video of a Raven entertaining himself by sliding repeatedly down a snowy hill just for the fun of it? Only intelligent creatures play! I could sit for hours watching these teasing jokers they can so delightful entertaining.
Thanks, Wyldraven for replying you made my day!

oh yes, wonderful intelligent birds! i remember seeing one on youtube. i thought it was a crow, sliding down a rooftop on a tin lid :) the crow/raven did that about 3 times before flying off.

I saw that one too,he made his very own sled. But one that really got me, was this big Raven sliding down a snowy hill on his back and he repeatedly did it a half-dozen times for had to climb back up the hill to it. So you knew he was enjoying it! This was some time ago, maybe the films not available any more? Along with it I remember comments about a Raven's intelligence being much greater than other birds.

Once I saw a group of crows gathered around a sick bird, obviousily one of their group, for they were endeavoring to help it. I never got to see what happened after that because I was driving at the time, but it was certainly unusal behavor for birds.

i don't think i saw that one! but i have watched quite a few raven vids on youtube :)
yes, i think they are one of the most intelligent birds. I'm amazed by how they can identically mimic human speech.
