Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

on other news... i am still very very far behind with thousands of devs and messages to go through. If anyone feels i have forgotten something important, let me know, as i may have overlooked some things.

i don't follow this stuff, don't really care for it. I hated sport at school so nor do i care for watching it. It really bores me. If it's meant to stir a patriotic sentiment, that's lost on me too

BUT if rumours are to be believed, you might expect something 'weird' to happen during the games. So far i've heard of an imminent 'false flag' terrorist attack and even alien contact. Many say the games are rooted in satanic ritual which is perpetrated by the Illuminati. Well, if you are curious, i would suggest looking these things up yourself, lol. It's too detailed to go into all that here.

I heard the greys had left the planet. They weren't necessarily evil, just indifferent. They were a dying race and needed our genetic material. The US gov set up the exchange for technology advancement.

I don't call the greys just indifferent...they feed off our consciousness and our emotions especially fear, they abduct, rape, torture and terrorize people against their will...I call that evil. There are countless reports of people seeing piles of dismembered people on their ships during abductions. Whether this is a real event or an image they're projecting into the abductees minds to force them into cooperation, I don't know but either way it is sinister. The only reason for them to leave the planet is because of the effects of Nibiru on our planet and you can bet that when things calm down eventually they will be back.
